Successful youth programmes hosted in schools across the greater Durban area in July

The Al Ihsan Teaching Training Academy and the ‘Youth of the Ummah’ (YOU) of Darul Ihsan Humanitarian Centre facilitated successful programmes at various schools across the greater Durban area throughout 24-31 July.

The Ulama of Darul Ihsan addressed matric learners from various schools, including Verulam Islamic School, Phoenix Muslim School, Ihsan Boys College in Chatsworth, Al-Falah College, and Orient Islamic School.

The programmes centred around various themes, including the maintenance of a strong Islamic identity, as well as utlising the power of youth to become strong, competent believers that will be of service to humanity. Practical tips for success in their upcoming examinations were also shared, from both an academic and spiritual perspective.

The matric learners were also introduced to the Al Ihsan Teacher Training Academy. The Academy is founded by the Darul Ihsan Centre, and offers matriculants the opportunity to pursue their tertiary studies in the education field in a safe, conducive environment whilst also nurturing their Islamic Studies knowledge.

The Darul Ihsan Humanitarian Centre would like to express thanks to the various schools for the opportunity and facilitating of these sessions. We encourage schools and stakeholders to contact the centre on 031 577 7868 should inspirational and motivational events be required at your school/institution, as well as for further information about the Al Ihsan Teacher Training Academy.
