Ramadan Programme “Our Call of Duty”

Alhamdulillah, by the grace and mercy of Almighty Allah, Youth of the Ummah successfully hosted its 16th Annual Ramadan Youth Night titled “Our Call of Duty” on Friday night, 6 March 2026, at Masjid Mu’adh bin Jabal, Berea West (Westville). The programme commenced after Taraweeh and concluded close to midnight, with a strong and enthusiastic turnout from the youth.

The evening was designed to uplift, inspire, and spiritually energise young attendees during this blessed month of Ramadan through a series of short yet impactful advice sessions. Participants benefited from three dynamic talks: “Facing Up to Your Call,” “The Battlefield of Temptation,” and “Leveling Up for Your Jannah.” These were delivered by Ml Abdullah Badat (Al Falah College), Ml Muhammad Ameer (Darul Ihsan Social Department), and Mufti Zubair Bayat(Ameer of Darul Ihsan Humanitarian Centre.

The sessions sparked meaningful reflection and opened important conversations, offering the youth practical and relevant guidance to navigate the challenges they face in their daily lives. The speakers emphasised the importance of reconnecting with the Qur’an and strengthening one’s relationship with Allah during the blessed nights of Ramadan.

The programme was further enriched by beautiful and soul-stirring Qur’an recitation, zikr, and nasheeds, presented by Qari Hamzah Desai (Qiraat), Qari Ismail Adamjee (Qiraat), Qari Ridwaan (Zikr), and Qari Usama Seif (Nasheeds). Their contributions created a spiritually uplifting atmosphere that deeply resonated with those in attendance.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to all those who contributed to the success of this programme. Their time, effort, and dedication ensured that the gathering was meaningful, enlightening, and spiritually uplifting for everyone present.

A special Jazakumullahu Khairan to our valued youth participants. Your presence, enthusiasm, and engagement are the heart of the Youth of the Ummah initiatives. May Allah Ta‘ala reward you abundantly and grant you steadfastness, strength, and success in both Deen and Dunya.

Refreshments were served, creating a warm and welcoming environment for the youth to interact, build friendships, and strengthen bonds of unity within the Ummah.

We make du‘a that Allah Ta‘ala allows the “Our Call of Duty” programme to truly fulfil its purpose: inspiring hearts, empowering minds, and directing the focus of our youth towards Allah and the Aakhirah.

May Allah accept the efforts of everyone involved and allow us to continue serving the youth of our community with sincerity and excellence.
